A Lifetime of Faith & Service: Mofis & Prise’s Story
At 68 years old, Mofis has spent a lifetime building homes for others—now, it's his turn. As one of Welcome Home Haiti’s lead masons, he has faithfully worked on homes since the ministry began in 2010. He and his wife, Prise (60), currently rent a home where they live with eight adults, including their six children (ages 38, 36, 33, 29, 24, and 9).
For the past 35 years, they have been devoted members of their church in Vertiere. Prise serves in the Dorcas group and participates in hospital visits, offering comfort to the sick and hurting. Through their faith and dedication, they have built up their community—now, we have the opportunity to bless them with a home of their own.
